Over at number 7 in Sendrambakkam Village, you’ll find our spot for Ultra Tech Cement Ltd. We are situated in the Madhavaram area, which has changed a lot lately with more buildings going up. Our yard is where we manage the supplies for this side of town. It’s a practical setup with plenty of space for the trucks to maneuver. We spend most of our mornings organizing the deliveries that need to go out. The staff here are mostly local folks who know the shortcuts around Madhavaram. It can get a bit hectic when several lorries arrive at once, but we manage. We aren’t big on fancy decorations or anything like that. The building is just a functional space for us to work out of. We see a lot of the same faces, like the local builders and masons who stop by to check on their orders. The weather in Sendrambakkam can get pretty hot, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We don’t really have a big sales pitch. We just make sure the cement is available when people need it for their sites. It’s a straightforward job and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big shipment. It’s just how it goes in this line of work. We keep the place tidy as best we can.
