We have been operating out of 32, Kelampakkam Salai for quite some time now. Kandigai is a busy enough spot, and our yard is usually right in the middle of all that activity. True Integral Concrete Pvt. Ltd. isn't the kind of place with a plush reception or people in suits. Most of us are out there near the mixers or checking on the trucks. The day starts pretty early here, usually before the sun gets too high, because the concrete doesn't wait for anyone once things get moving. It is dusty work, and our boots show it by the end of the shift. We spend a lot of time just making sure the equipment is running like it should. Sometimes the traffic on Kelampakkam Salai makes things a bit slow, but we’ve gotten used to timing the deliveries. There is a lot of noise when the drums are turning, and you can barely hear yourself think, but that is just part of the job. Most of the guys here are local, so we know the shortcuts around Kandigai. We don't really do much advertising or fancy talk. People just know where the gate is and that we are usually there from Monday to Saturday. It is straightforward work that keeps us busy, and we just try to get the loads out without too much fuss or delay. That is pretty much the daily life for us here.
