Moonshiv Exports & Imports

If you know Triplicane, you know how packed the streets can get, especially around Venkatachala Naicken. That’s where Moonshiv Exports & Imports is located. We share the space with a few other small businesses, so there is always someone coming or going. We handle both stuff coming in and stuff going out, which means we spend half our lives on the phone with the port authorities. The building is old and the stairs are narrow, so moving heavy crates can be a real pain. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a few desks and a lot of coffee cups scattered around. My uncle started this place years ago and I just stayed on to help run things. We mostly deal with textiles and some small machinery parts that people need. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the customs forms are filled out correctly, or else everything gets stuck. Triplicane is a great place to work because you can find anything you need within walking distance. We’ve had some long nights here when a big shipment is due, just sitting under the lights and double-checking every single box. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of our regular clients are just local guys we’ve known for a decade. We don't really bother with big marketing plans. We just focus on getting the goods where they need to go on time.
