G&h Exports & Imports

We work out of 1/1 K. G. Garden 1st Street in Tondiarpet. It’s a busy little pocket of the city. G&h Exports & Imports is tucked away there, and if you aren't looking closely, you might miss us. The street is narrow, and there’s always something going on outside—kids playing or neighbors chatting. Our office is a bit cramped because we have so many samples and documents stacked up on every available surface. We handle both exports and imports, so there’s always a double stack of work. One side of the desk is for stuff coming in, and the other is for stuff going out. We drink a lot of coffee to keep up with the pace. Tondiarpet is a place where people know each other, so we often have locals stopping by just to say hello or ask about the weather. It’s not the kind of place where you’d expect a global trade business, but it works for us. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of what we do comes from people knowing we’re here and knowing we just get the job done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait, but that’s just how it is. We keep our ledgers by hand sometimes just in case. It’s a practical, local way to run G&h, and we’ve been doing it this way for a while.
