We are over here at Pillayar Koil Street in Thoraipakkam. It’s pretty close to the 200 Feet Road. Malar Concrete Products has been around this spot for a while now. We mostly handle concrete items. The yard gets busy, especially with all the new buildings coming up around here. It’s a dusty job but someone has to do it. We have a few guys working the mixers and moving blocks around. If you walk down from the main road, you'll see us. It’s not a big fancy office or anything, just a place where we get the work done. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they need stuff for their homes. We keep a stock of different things made of cement. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to dry things out, but we manage. Most days it's just about loading trucks and making sure the counts are right. We’ve seen Thoraipakkam change quite a bit over the years. The traffic on 200 Feet Road is much heavier now than it used to be. Still, we stay right here at No 1/220. It's a straightforward business. We don't do much advertising, mostly just folks knowing we are here. If you need concrete pieces, this is where we make them. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us at Malar Concrete Products.
