M. J. Impex

We've been at 35/62 Anna Street for a while now. Tthiruvanmiyur is a busy part of town, and our office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. M. J. Impex started out small. Most days it’s just us handling paperwork and talking to people on the phone. The street outside can get pretty loud during the mornings. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is the highlight of the afternoon. We move things in and out, dealing with whatever comes across the desk. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. People around here know where to find us. We don't have a huge staff or a big lobby. It’s mostly just desks, some files, and a lot of caffeine. We try to keep things simple. If the fan is working and the internet is up, we’re happy. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking a shipment or just organizing the storage. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. It’s more about making sure the stuff gets where it needs to go. That’s how we’ve always run things here on Anna Street. Sometimes we lose track of time when a big order comes through. It’s just the way it goes. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. It works for us.
