Thimil Farms Private Limited is located out in Neelamangalam Village. If you head towards Guduvancherry East, you’ll find our spot at SF.No.33/1A2A. Being out here in the village is a lot different than being in the middle of Chennai. It is a bit quieter, and there is more space for the actual farming work. We have been working this land for a while now. It’s a lot of waking up early and checking on the crops or the animals before the sun gets too high. The village life suits us just fine. We have a small office on the site where we handle the business side of things, but most of the time we are outside. It gets muddy when it rains, and the roads aren't always the best, but that is just part of living out here. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people know where we are because they’ve seen us working the fields or they know someone who works here. We produce what we can and try to make sure it gets to the markets in the city while it is still fresh. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty every single day. We don't mind it, though. It’s better than sitting at a desk all day long. We just want to keep the farm going for as long as we can.
