T. Nagar is a place that never really sleeps, and we are right in the middle of it on G.N. Chetty Road. Our office is in the Anmol Palani building, specifically at No 88, A-1. It’s a busy building in a busy part of Chennai. Working with silks and fabrics means we are always surrounded by rolls of cloth and different textures. The space is a bit crowded because we have so many samples and stock lying around, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We’ve been here for a while, and the local tea stall knows exactly how we like our drinks. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us making sure the fabric looks right and the orders go out on time. The traffic on G.N. Chetty Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we’re used to the constant honking by now. Inside, we try to keep things organized, even if it doesn't always look like it. There’s always a lot of chatter about new patterns or delivery schedules. We don't spend money on expensive ads or fancy brochures. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been doing this for long enough to know what we’re doing. It’s a dusty, busy, fabric-filled life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and get back to the silks. It is just our regular way of doing things.
