The Grand Ashok

So this is about The Grand Ashok, but specifically the house keeping side of things. We are based out of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, with the postal code 600029. It is a busy operation because keeping a place clean and running takes a lot of hands. We have a team of people who are on their feet most of the day. It isn't glamorous work, but it is necessary. You can find us working through the rooms and hallways. We have been doing this for quite some time now in India. The heat in Coimbatore can be something else, but we just keep moving. We don't have any fancy brochures about our history or anything like that. It’s just about making sure the beds are made and the floors are scrubbed. Sometimes we run out of supplies and have to wait for the delivery truck, which can be annoying. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know how each other works. We aren't some big corporate office with people in suits. We are the ones in the background making sure things look decent. It is a practical job and we take it one day at a time. The 600029 area is where our main focus stays. Just a bunch of local workers doing what needs to be done. We don't talk much about it, we just get to work.
