Olive Sparrow Exports & Imports

We are set up at No. 8 on the first floor of Kambar Street. We are located right near Aravind School in Tharamani. It’s a handy location because it’s easy to explain to people how to find us. Olive Sparrow Exports & Imports is a small operation. We handle both things coming into the country and things going out. The office has a lot of windows, so we can see the kids going to school and the parents waiting around outside. It makes the day feel a bit more lively. Inside, we have our desks and some old chairs for any visitors who might stop by. We don't really have a lobby. Most of our space is taken up by big ledgers and some sample products we keep on hand for reference. We spend a lot of time talking to various suppliers and trying to figure out the best routes for shipping. It’s a lot of logistical work that keeps us at our desks until late some evenings. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, which honestly suits us just fine. We don't have a big management structure or anything like that. We just decide what needs to be done each morning and then we get to it. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and that makes the filing take twice as long as it should. We usually get tea from the shop at the corner when we need a break. It is a decent place to work.
