We are located at 26 & 28 Dooming Lane in the Mylapore area of Chennai. Thanjai Agro Processing Centre Privatelimited is our name. Our spot is right in the heart of old Chennai, 600004. We chose this place because it’s close to where things happen, even if the lane is a bit narrow and hard for big trucks to get into sometimes. We focus on processing what comes in from the Thanjavur region. It’s a lot of work and the building is often full of bags and equipment. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits or fancy coffee machines. We are usually in our work clothes, moving things around or checking the machines. It can get a bit loud and messy, but that’s the nature of processing agro products. We have been in Mylapore for a while now and we like the neighborhood. People stop by to ask what we are doing, and we just tell them we are working on the harvest. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing department or even a real sign outside. We just rely on the quality of what we produce. It’s a small operation, really. We just want to keep the link between the Thanjai farms and the city strong. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything running, but we are a dedicated bunch. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay busy.
