Green Farms Chennai

Green Farms Chennai is tucked away at Old No. 87 on Eldams Road in Teynampet. If you know Chennai, you know how busy Eldams Road can get with all the cars and people. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb. It is a small space, but we manage to coordinate all our farming interests from here. It is a bit strange having a farm business in the heart of Teynampet, but it works for us because we are close to the main markets and the people we need to talk to. We spend most of our day on the telephone or typing out emails to coordinate between the rural sites and the buyers. It can get pretty cramped when we have a few visitors, but we always have some water or coffee to offer. The staff is just a handful of local people who know the city well. We don't have any flashy posters on the walls, just some calendars and maps to keep track of where everything is. It is a busy atmosphere, and sometimes it feels like we are constantly playing catch-up, but that is just how it goes in a big city. We like being part of this neighborhood, even with all the traffic and the constant noise of the horns outside.
