We are located at 54 Poonamalle Road. The name on the sign is T. V. S. Iyengar & Sons. It’s a straightforward kind of place. Being on Poonamalle Road means we see a lot of cars and people going by every hour. The building itself has been around for a while and it shows its age in some spots, but it works for us. We have a routine here that hasn't changed much over the years. We open up early, sweep the front, and get ready for whatever the day brings. It’s not a corporate office with people in suits. We wear regular clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty. There’s a lot of history in the name, but we don't talk about that much. We just focus on what needs to be done right now. The interior is simple with old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming to this address for years. They know where to find us. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door if it’s a really heavy storm, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows their job. We don't do anything flashy. We just stay at 54 Poonamalle Road and keep the doors open for anyone who needs us. It’s a busy life but we like it and the people are good.
