Shakthi Traders

Shakthi Traders is over at No. 1 B 9th Main Road in Sasirekha Ambal Nagar. It is part of the larger Kaviarasu Kannadasan Nagar neighborhood. We have a good spot on the main road which makes it easy for people to find us. The shop isn't massive, but we make the most of the space we have. We carry a bit of everything that the local people might need. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk with the neighbors who stop by for a chat. Other days are frantic with everyone wanting something at the same time. Being on 9th Main Road means there is a lot of foot traffic and bikes going past all day. We keep the front of the shop open to catch the breeze, though it brings in the dust from the road too. We have been at this address for quite some time now and we have seen the area change around us. The shelves are usually packed and we try to keep things where we can find them, though it doesn't always stay neat. Working in Kaviarasu Kannadasan Nagar is good because it is a real community. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. We don't do any big promotions or anything. We just open up in the morning, sell what we have, and close up when it gets dark. It is a simple life and a simple business, just the way we like it.
