Madras Poly Industries is located at No. 5f1 Golden Avenue in Irrandamkattalai Village. That’s over in Kovur, which is part of the Kanchipuram District. It’s a bit of a way out, but we like it here. The area has changed a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed put. Our work involves a lot of plastic and industrial materials. It’s a lot of machinery and keeping things running smoothly. The village of Irrandamkattalai is a quiet enough place to have a business like this. We have regulars who stop in and we know many of the neighbors. You won't find anyone in a suit around here. We wear work clothes because the job gets a bit messy. The machines have their own sound and you get used to it after a while. Kanchipuram District is big, but we’ve found our spot here on Golden Avenue. We don't go in for big marketing or fancy websites. We just do the work and handle the orders as they come in. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when a big load needs to go out, but usually, it’s just a steady pace. We keep the gates open during the day and close up once everything is finished. It’s what we do and it keeps us going. Most of the time we're just busy watching the machines and checking the products we make.
