We are located over in Mogappair West, right in the Nolambur Scheme. Our address is Mig 72 on the 1st Cross Street. It’s a quiet residential pocket, so we try to keep things low-key. Trading is basically about keeping track of what people need and finding a way to get it to them. Our space is usually filled with crates and boxes. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes to find a specific item when a customer walks in. We know most of the people on the street. It’s the kind of place where you stop and chat for a bit. The 1st Cross Street is narrow, so we have to be quick when the supply trucks show up. It’s not a fancy shop with glass windows. It’s more of a working warehouse where we handle the daily grind. We’ve seen Mogappair grow quite a bit over the last few years. There are way more houses now than when we first moved into Mig 72. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s an honest way to make a living. Nothing too complicated about it. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next morning. Sometimes we have a lot of stock, other times it’s empty. That is just how the trading business works around here. It keeps us on our toes.
