Veshalakshi Exports

We are located at No. 1 Mahalakshmi Street in T. Nagar. If you know T. Nagar, you know how crowded and lively it gets every single day of the week. Veshalakshi Exports has been part of this street for quite some time now. We mostly focus on sending out garments and textiles to different places. It is a lot of packing and weighing boxes in a space that always feels a bit too small for the amount of work we have. The building is old, and the stairs are narrow, but it has got a lot of character. We do not have a showroom or anything fancy like that. Our work happens in the back where the sewing machines are going and the irons are steaming all afternoon. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers and making sure the fabric is the right color. We do not always get it right on the first try, but we fix it until it is okay. It is a lot of manual labor and long hours, especially when a big order is due. The neighborhood is full of shops, so there is always something going on outside our door. We have got a small crew of workers who have become like family over the years. We do not do much advertising; people just know where to find us. We are just a regular local business trying to stay afloat.
