Suswara Lakshmi Engineering

Suswara Lakshmi Engineering is located over in Tambaram East. Our shop is at New No. 4, which people sometimes still call Old No. 15, on Voc Street. We are very close to Madras Christian College, so the street is always full of students and local life. We’ve been at this location for a long time now. It’s a traditional engineering workshop, so it’s usually quite loud with the sound of grinders and lathes running. The floor is covered in metal shavings and there is always a smell of cutting oil in the air. We are a small team of local workers who know how to handle various types of metalwork and repairs. We don’t have an office with a computer or a fancy reception area. If you want to talk to us about a job, you just come into the workshop and find one of us. We don’t do any big advertising or have a website. Most of our customers are locals or people who have been coming to us for decades. We just focus on doing the work right so that it lasts. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought it would, but we stay until it’s finished. It’s a bit of a messy place, and we don’t spend much time cleaning up for show. We just care about the machines and making sure the parts we make are solid.
