Stylica is tucked away in Jamals Sheriden Manor on Arcot Road in Saligramam. It’s a bit of a mix here between people living their daily lives and businesses like ours trying to get things done. The building has a steady rhythm to it that you get used to. We aren't on the ground floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street traffic below, which is usually backed up during the morning rush hours. The office is small but we’ve made it work for us over the years. We have a couple of desks and a lot of shelf space for all our files. It isn't a place for showing off or having fancy parties. It’s just where we come to do our work. The air conditioner is a bit noisy, but in this heat, nobody is complaining about that sound. We spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with different vendors. Saligramam is a good area to be in, though it gets quite busy. Sometimes we walk down the road to get a hot coffee when we need a break from the computer screens. Our team is like a small family, really. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for their lunch. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right in and talk to whoever is free. It is a very direct way of doing things for us.
