You can find Stretchknit Fabrics Private Limited at Poes Pride Apartments in Teynampet. We are at B9, on the 50/103 Poes Road. It’s a different kind of vibe being in an apartment complex in Chennai. It’s right in the middle of everything, so the noise from the street is always there, even with the windows shut. We have our office set up here and it’s where all the planning and phone calls happen throughout the day. Chennai is always humid, and being in Teynampet means we are close to a lot of other businesses and shops. It’s very convenient for us to get around. The space is practical, filled with files and fabric swatches and a couple of desks that have seen better days. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We deal with fabrics every day, so there are always stacks of material to look through and categorize. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers and customers. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, or the parking is a nightmare because the street is so narrow, but we’ve gotten used to it. We aren't trying to be a big corporate giant. We just run our business from this corner of Chennai and do our best to stay organized. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the samples, but we make it work for us.
