Stitcher Apparel Private Limited is located over on 51st Street, right in the middle of Ashok Nagar. If you know the area, you know 7th Avenue gets pretty busy with traffic and people walking to the shops nearby. Our place is tucked in there, and honestly, it can be a bit loud with all the noise from the street coming through the windows. We spend most of our time at the workstations. The layout is simple—lots of sewing machines, cutting tables, and stacks of cloth waiting to be turned into something. It’s a bit crowded when we have a big order, but we manage to navigate around each other. The coffee man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a breather. Ashok Nagar is a good place to be, even if parking is a nightmare for everyone. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone just does their job without much fuss. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you see the work happening right there. It smells like new fabric and machine oil most of the time. We just try to keep the machines running smooth and the thread colors matched up correctly. Some days are longer than others, especially when the deadlines are tight, but we usually head home once the shutters go down in the evening. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation for us.
