Srishoba Organic Agro Farm India Private Limited

We are located on Balaji Street in Kolathur. It’s a local neighborhood in Chennai and we’ve been part of it for a while now. Srishoba Organic Agro Farm is our small business. We focus on organic agriculture and try to bridge the gap between the rural farms and the city streets. It’s not always easy to explain why organic matters to everyone who walks in. We just try to show them the difference in the products. Our office is a simple place in Vivekanandaa Nagar. We have a lot of maps on the wall and piles of ledgers. We prefer the old way of doing things sometimes. Technology is great but you still have to know the people you are buying from. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to growers across Tamil Nadu. Sometimes the language is different but the goals are the same. We want good food on the table. We aren't a corporate giant with a board of directors. It’s just us and a few helpers making sure the crates are loaded right. The humidity in Kolathur can be tough in the summer months but we keep the fans going and get the work done. It’s a humble life but it feels like we are doing something that actually matters. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
