Sri Vijayalakshmi Traders is located right in the middle of the hustle at B37 in the Wholesale Cooking Complex. If you know Koyambedu, you know how busy it gets around here. We’ve been at this spot for some time. It’s a crowded place with lots of noise and people moving goods all day long. Our unit isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Most mornings start way before the sun is even up. That’s when the first loads arrive. We just deal with the daily trade. Nothing too complicated. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking the stock. It’s a bit of a maze in this complex if you aren't used to it. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in, get what they need, and move on. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just us and the goods. Sometimes the traffic outside is a real headache, especially during peak hours. But being in Koyambedu means we are where the action is. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the orders moving out. It’s hard work, and my hands are usually dirty by noon. We like it that way. It’s a real business for real people who need things for their kitchens and shops. We don't have time for anything else.
