Sri Saravana Traders

We are Sri Saravana Traders, located at the spot that used to be No 72 but is now New No. 214 on the Theni Highway in Chromepet. This part of Chennai is always moving, and being on the highway means we never have a quiet moment. The roar of the engines from the buses and trucks is something you just get used to after a few days of working here. We deal with various trading items and our space is pretty packed. There are stacks of stuff everywhere you look, making it hard to walk around sometimes. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. People stop by on their way in or out of the city. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving items around or talking to suppliers who drop by. The heat coming off the asphalt outside can be intense during the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long. Chromepet is a busy hub, and we’ve seen a lot of changes on this road over the years. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop and our regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We just try to get through the day's work and keep the shop running as best as we can without making things too complicated.
