Sri Raghavendra Imports & Exports

We’re based on the ground floor over at Bheemana Garden Street. The address is a bit confusing because of the old and new numbers, it’s New No. 35 now. Sri Raghavendra Imports & Exports has been in Alwarpet for some time. It’s a decent area, bit more relaxed than some other parts of the city. We spend our hours tracking shipments and dealing with suppliers. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the internet acts up and we lose half the morning, but that’s just how it is. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us here making sure things get shipped out and the incoming stuff is accounted for. There’s always a pile of invoices to go through. We drink a lot of coffee to stay alert. The office is functional. Nothing too flashy. We focus on the logistics side of things. It’s a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls. Sometimes a client calls with a problem and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s the nature of importing and exporting. You never quite know what the day will bring. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The neighborhood is nice enough. We know the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a good spot for us. We just try to get the containers moved and the paperwork filed without causing anyone a headache. We usually shut down the computers around six unless a late ship is docking.
