Sri Ponni Enterprises

Our place is located at No.1 on 4th Pillaiyar Koil Street. We’ve been here in Ekkaduthangal for quite some time now. It’s a busy little area, especially being so close to the temple street. Usually, the mornings start early with getting things organized at the shop. We handle a variety of items here under the name Sri Ponni Enterprises. It’s not a huge operation by any means, just a local business trying to get things done right. The street can get a bit narrow when deliveries arrive, which is always a bit of a headache for the drivers, but we’ve gotten used to it by now. People from around the neighborhood know where to find us. We don't really do much advertising or have a big sign out front. Mostly it’s just people walking in because they need something specific for their house or a project they are working on. The weather gets really hot in Chennai, so we try to do all the heavy lifting before the sun gets too high in the sky. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of what’s in stock in the back room. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. Sometimes things get a bit messy, but we clear it out when we can. It’s a simple life running a business on this street. We’ve seen the buildings go up around us while we stay right here at No.1.
