Sri Nagammal Engineering Works

We run Sri Nagammal Engineering Works out of Royapettah. You can find us at No 8/26 on Swami Achari Street. We are quite close to Balasubramanian Park, which is a nice landmark if you're looking for us. Royapettah is a crowded, lively part of town, and our shop fits right in. It’s a small space, but we have managed to fit all the necessary equipment inside. We mostly do general engineering work, things like repairs and small fabrication jobs. There isn't much room for a fancy office, so we just have a small desk tucked in a corner. Most of the time, we are standing at the machines anyway. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been at this address for several years. People around Swami Achari Street know the sound of our shop. We don’t do any advertising. Most of our work comes from people walking in or neighbors telling their friends about us. We try to be fair and just do a decent job. It’s not a complicated business. We get some metal, we work on it, and the customer picks it up. Sometimes things go wrong with the machines and we have to fix those too. That’s just life in a workshop. We are just local people trying to make a living with our hands.
