Sri Muruga & Co

You can find us at Shop No-71 on Govindappa Naicken Street, right in the heart of Parrys. We are directly across from where the Ing Vysya Bank used to be. This street is always crowded with people, carts, and delivery bikes. It is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. Sri Muruga & Co has been operating out of this small storefront for many years. We deal with various goods, and the place is usually overflowing with boxes. There isn't much room to move around inside, so we often stand out near the front to talk to customers. The building is old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. My father worked here before me, and I grew up learning the trade by watching him. It is a loud environment with people haggling and horns honking outside all day. We start our mornings early, around eight, and usually don't close up until the sun is well down. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little, and we have to lift everything off the floor. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we do. We try to be fair and keep things simple for everyone who comes by.
