Sri Mahalakshmi Store

Our store is located at No-17B in Lakshmi Nagar, right in the 4th Stage area of Nanganallur. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stand, but the people living in this stage know us well. We’ve been running Sri Mahalakshmi Store as a small family thing. It’s not one of those huge malls you see popping up everywhere in Chennai these days. We just have a small space where we keep all the essentials. If you live around Lakshmi Nagar, you probably pass by us every day. We try to keep the shop organized, but sometimes when a big shipment comes in, there are boxes everywhere for a few hours. That’s just how it goes when you’re doing it all yourself. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything is in order. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we know what people like to buy. Usually, it's just the basic groceries and household items that everyone needs. We like the 4th Stage because it feels more like a community than the busier parts of the city. We open up early because that’s when the morning crowd starts moving. It’s a steady pace throughout the day. We aren't trying to do anything big, just keeping the shelves full for the neighbors and making sure we stay helpful to the people around us.
