Sri Kaliyuga Varadharaja Perumal Collective Farm Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Poyyur in the Ariyalur district. You can find us on the Main Road, right at 3/163. It’s a small village setup near Melakaruppur. We are basically a bunch of local farmers who teamed up. The name is a bit long, but it means something to the people here. We spend our days looking at the fields and figuring out the best way to keep the farm going. It's not a fancy business. Most of the time we are covered in dirt or busy moving grain around. We started this because doing it alone was getting too hard for everyone. Now we share the tools and the work. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we manage somehow. We aren't looking to be famous or anything. We just want to make sure the families here can keep farming. The weather can be tough in this part of Tamil Nadu, so we have to stick together. If you come by the office, you’ll probably find a few of us sitting around discussing the latest crop prices or the water levels. It's just a local operation run by people who know the land and the seasons. We don't have big city ideas. We just want to make sure our harvests are good and that the work is spread out fairly among all the members of our collective group here in the village. It takes a lot of effort, but we stay patient with it.
