Sri Devi Concrete Block

Sri Devi Concrete Block is based at 227, Ponneri High Road. We are specifically in the Vellivoyal Chavadi area. This is near the Manali New Town Post. This is the spot where we actually make and stack up all our concrete blocks. It is a pretty large open yard. We really need the space to let the heavy blocks dry out properly in the sun. If you drive down Ponneri High Road, you can't really miss the big stacks of grey blocks waiting to be loaded onto trucks. We started this whole thing because there is so much building going on all around Manali. Newer areas are popping up nearby, too. It is heavy, physical work that keeps us in shape every day. We spend our long days operating the block molds and moving the finished products around the yard. We don't have a fancy website or a dedicated sales team to call people up. Usually, customers just drive up in a truck or even a tractor. They ask for whatever amount they need for their specific project. We count them out and help load them up. That is pretty much how the business goes. The weather affects our work a lot. If it starts to rain too much, we have to hurry and cover everything up before it gets ruined. We are just a small local outfit. Most of us live very nearby. We don't have a long commute. It is a simple life of making blocks and selling them to neighbors.
