Sree Jayajothi Cements Ltd.

Our office is located at R.R.Residency in Anna Nagar West, Chennai. Being in a city like Chennai is very different from being out at the production sites. Here at Sree Jayajothi Cements Ltd., we handle a lot of the coordination and the paperwork side of things. Anna Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the window. The office isn't very large, just a few desks and some filing cabinets. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to different departments and trying to keep everything on schedule. Traffic in Chennai can be a nightmare, so we try to get in early before the roads get too blocked up. It's a lot of sitting and typing, which is a different kind of hard work compared to the manual labor. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at our computers. We try to stay organized, even though the stacks of paper seem to grow every week. It’s a quiet enough place once you step inside from the street noise. We just focus on getting the administrative stuff right so the rest of the company can keep moving. It’s a regular job for regular people. We have been here for a while and have a routine that works for us, even on the days when everything feels a bit chaotic with the city life.
