Spring Flower Organics

Our place is over on Plot No. 75 in Astalakshmi Nagar. It’s tucked away on 3rd Street in Valasaravakkam, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We deal with organic stuff, mostly just sorting through things and making sure they are clean. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We started out small and stayed that way because we like knowing everyone who comes through. The neighborhood has changed a lot lately with more houses going up, but our little corner stays about the same. We have some crates piled up near the entrance and a small desk where we handle the notes. It’s not some big polished operation. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck because the street is narrow, which is always a headache for everyone involved. We try to keep the noise down for the neighbors since it’s a residential area. There’s a big tree near the gate that gives some good shade in the afternoon. Most of the time it’s just us talking about what needs to be packed next. We don't use any big machines, just our hands and some basic tools. It’s steady work and it keeps us out of trouble. Chennai heat can be tough in the afternoons, so we usually take a long break when the sun is high and the air is still.
