Selvanayaki Traders

Selvanayaki Traders is located at 15, Old Bungalow Street in Chintadripet. This is an old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and full of history. Our building is one of those traditional ones that has been around for decades. We do a lot of trading from here, and the front door is almost always open to let in a bit of a breeze. Chintadripet is a busy place, known for its markets, so there is always a lot of noise and activity right outside. We handle all sorts of goods, and you can usually find us surrounded by ledgers and stacks of items waiting to be moved. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s just how trading goes. We don’t have a fancy computer system for everything; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper. The neighbors are all traders too, so we often help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy load. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break when the sun is at its highest. We aren't a big corporation, just a local business trying to make a living on Old Bungalow Street. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. It’s just us, doing our thing day in and day out, making sure the orders are ready for the morning.
