Apoorva Agro Products

We are up on the second floor at 58 Pantheon Road in Egmore. It’s a decent building, though the elevator can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Apoorva Agro Products is a simple operation. We deal with agricultural stuff, mostly sourcing and making sure things get where they need to go. The office has a lot of windows which is nice for the light, but it gets pretty hot in the afternoons. We have a few fans going all the time. It’s not a corporate setup with cubicles. Just some tables pushed together and a lot of samples in jars. You can smell the grains sometimes when you walk in. My cousin helps out with the accounts and we have a couple of guys who handle the lifting and moving. Egmore is a central spot, so it’s easy for people to find us, even if the parking is a nightmare. We usually eat lunch together at our desks. There’s a small tea stall downstairs that we frequent. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. If someone wants to know about our products, we just show them what we have on the shelf. It’s honest work. Sometimes the rains make the roof leak a little near the window, but we just put a bucket there. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. Nothing fancy, just us working hard and doing what we can.
