Our office is at 81, Bazullah Road in T.Nagar, which means we’re right in the middle of all the chaos. Bazullah Road is always packed with cars and people, so getting into the office in the morning can be a bit of a challenge. Neophyll Agrisciences Pvt. Ltd. is housed in an older building that has a lot of character, even if the elevator is a bit temperamental and slow. Inside, we’ve got a mix of lab equipment and regular office desks. It’s a bit of a strange setup, but it works for us. There’s always someone looking through a microscope or typing up a report on some new soil sample. The windows are old and sometimes rattle when a heavy truck passes by outside. We have a small balcony where we keep a few potted plants, mostly just to see how they grow in this light. The breakroom is just a corner with a kettle and a jar of biscuits that’s usually empty by noon. We don’t have any slick marketing posters on the walls, just some charts and a few photos from field visits. It’s a busy place, and we’re often staying late to finish up tests or get the paperwork ready for the next day. The traffic outside never seems to stop, and it becomes a sort of background noise that we don’t even notice after a while.
