Spazio Leathers

Our place, Spazio Leathers, is located at No. 43/77 Chamiers Road. We are right opposite the Park Sheraton Hotel in R. A. Puram. It is a busy road, and we see all kinds of cars and people passing by all day. The smell of leather is the first thing you notice when you walk inside our door. It is a strong, heavy scent that we have gotten used to over the years. We have rolls of different skins and pieces of hide lying around the workspace. There is a lot of cutting and stitching going on most days. Our tools are old and have been used a lot, but they still work better than anything else we have tried. We fix things like bags or jackets that have seen better days and need some help. It is dusty work because of the leather scraps and the road outside. We don't have a big fancy showroom like the shops in the malls. It is more of a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout to hear each other. R. A. Puram is a nice area, and being near the hotel brings in some interesting people now and then. We just stay focused on the bench and the needles. We don't use fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is just done by hand with some patience.
