You can find us at No.3 in the N.D Building, up on the second floor in Tambaram West. It is a decent spot, though climbing the stairs every day keeps us awake. Space Inn Place Architecture Consultancy is really just a group of us who enjoy figuring out how to make buildings better. We’ve been in Tambaram for a bit now, and we like the vibe of this area. It has got a lot of local life. Our office is pretty lived-in. There are rolls of tracing paper in the corners and samples of flooring piled up under the desks. We spend a lot of time consulting with people who have an idea but do not know how to start. We sit down, listen to what they want, and try to draw something that makes sense. It is not always easy, especially when budgets are tight or the land is a weird shape. We do not do the fancy sales pitches. We just tell people what is possible and what isn't. The 2nd-floor view gives us a bit of a look at the street below, which is nice when we need a break from the screens. It is a lot of paperwork and back-and-forth with builders, but that is just how it goes. We are just trying to do solid work and help our neighbors build things they actually like. It is a simple goal, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week and the months.
