Franchis Architect

We are Franchis Architect and we are based here in Chennai. It is a big city with a lot of different styles of buildings, from the old ones near the coast to the new towers going up everywhere else. We don't have a very complicated setup. Most of our days are spent sitting at our desks, working on drawings and trying to figure out how to make a space look right. Chennai can be very hot and humid, so we usually have the air conditioning running while we work on our plans. We aren't trying to be the most famous architects in the world. We just want to do a decent job for the people who come to us. Some of us have been doing this for a long time, and some are newer, but we all just focus on the task at hand. We talk a lot about materials and costs because that is what matters to most people. Our office is a place where there are always rolls of paper and pens lying around. Sometimes we disagree on where a window should be, but we eventually figure it out. It is just honest work in a busy city. We don't use fancy talk or try to sell anyone on big ideas. We just look at the site, listen to what is needed, and start drawing. It is a simple life and we are happy to be working in Chennai. We stay here until the work is done and then go home.
