Space Import & Exports

Space Import & Exports is located at No. 71 and 72 on the First Line in New Market, West Tambaram. We have been working out of this spot for a long time now. The market area is usually very busy, and our office is right in the middle of all that activity. We handle all kinds of import and export work, which mostly means we spend our time dealing with lots of paperwork and checking on where shipments are. It is not the most exciting job to look at from the outside, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we can get things done. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it a bit hard to focus, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We deal with all sorts of items that need to be moved across borders. Most of the work is just making sure everything is listed correctly and that the containers are on time. We are just a small group of people here. We know the other shop owners in the New Market quite well and often stop for a quick tea while we are waiting for a truck to arrive. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to finish the work for the day so we can go home to our families. It is an honest living and we are happy to be part of this community.
