Sri Chamunda Impex

Sowcarpet is a maze of narrow lanes, and Sri Chamunda Impex is tucked away at No. 86 Narayana Mudali Street. If you walk down the street, you’ll see carts and people moving goods everywhere. It is a tight squeeze, but this is the heart of the trading district. Our office is a small room packed with files and product samples. We’ve been here for years, and we have gotten used to the noise and the constant activity right outside our door. We deal with various imports and exports, mostly managing the logistics and the local paperwork. It is not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or air conditioning that always works, but it is where the real work happens. Most of our days are spent on the phone or sitting at old desks trying to figure out shipping schedules. We don’t really do any formal advertising. Most people find us because they know someone we have worked with before. It is a very local way of doing things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a bit chaotic at times, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to find space for it, but we always manage to get things sorted out eventually. It is just a regular, busy life here in Sowcarpet.
