SOUTHERN INDIA STEELCAST is over in Kilpauk, Chennai. Our office is at 1C, Prince Apartments on 59 Ormes Road. It’s a bit unusual to have an industrial-type company based in an apartment building, but it works for us. We handle the management and the paperwork from here. Kilpauk is a nice area, though the traffic on Ormes Road can be a real pain during the rush hours. We are a private limited company, but it’s a small, close-knit group of people. We don't have a big corporate structure. We just work together to get things done. We've been here for quite some time now. Most of our staff have been with us for years. We don't have a fancy reception or a big sign outside. It’s just 1C. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our work comes from long-time connections we’ve made over the years. We aren't trying to be the most famous steel company in India. We just want to do our specialized steelcast work and keep our customers satisfied. We don't use marketing language or try to sound more important than we are. We are just regular people working in a quiet office in Kilpauk. Sometimes we grab lunch from the small places nearby. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of operation. We just keep things moving.
