Orient Aluminium & Hardwares is over at No 213 on the 100 Feet Road in Arumbakkam. If you are near the Asian Games area on Jawaharlal Nehru Road, you will find us easily. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our doors. We deal with aluminium and different kinds of hardware items. The shop isn't anything too special to look at, but we have plenty of stock piled up inside. People come in looking for specific parts for their homes or projects. Being on such a big road like 100 Feet Road means we see all sorts of customers. Some are contractors and some are just neighbors fixing something. We've been at No 213 for some time now. It gets dusty with all the construction around Arumbakkam, but we keep things moving. You can't miss the sign for Orient Aluminium & Hardwares when you're driving toward the Asian Games site. We usually have the doors wide open. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most days. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a notebook is faster. It’s a practical business for a practical area. If you need some metal or tools, this is where we stay. We just try to get through the day and help people find the right screws or frames they came for. There is always work to be done in the shop.
