Ce Raju & Sons

We have been here at 122/1 in Sapthagiri Colony for quite some time now. Anna Nagar is usually busy but our corner stays mostly okay. My father started this and now we just keep it going every day. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place with shelves and some old fans that make a bit of noise when it gets hot. Most people who come in live right around the corner or a few streets over. We open up early, usually around eight, and the first thing is always sweeping the front because of the dust from the road. There are a lot of bags to move around and sometimes my back hurts by lunch, but that is just how it is. It gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work and stopping by for what they need. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun over the years. My brother handles the accounts and I mostly look after the stock and the customers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the stools until it comes back. It is a simple life here in the colony. We know most of our customers by their names and what they usually buy. There isn't much more to say about us, really. We are just here doing the work.
