You have to go up to the second floor at No.72 on Govindappa Naicken Street to find us. We are right near the Kotak Mahindra Bank. This street is one of the busiest in the whole area. It’s narrow and always packed with people and delivery bikes. Our office isn't very big. We have desks pushed together and shelves full of files and samples. Since we are on the second floor, we don't get as much street noise, but it’s still there in the background. We do trading, which means a lot of phone calls and checking prices. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when it’s hot. We don't have a fancy elevator. Most of the people who come to see us are regular business contacts. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy to bother with it. We drink a lot of coffee while we work through the orders. It’s a tight space but we make it work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby. Just a place where we do our trading and keep things moving. It’s how business is done on this street. We keep a few old chairs for guests, but most people don't stay long. We just handle the papers and get on with the next task. Sometimes the delivery boys get lost on the stairs, so we have to go out and shout for them.
