Durga Traders

Durga Traders is a small shop located at 13A, Mandaveli Road. We’ve been operating out of this little space for quite some time now. It’s not a very big place, so we have to be really organized with how we stack our goods. We mostly deal in rice and other basic staples. Mandaveli Road is a busy area, so there’s always someone popping in to ask about prices or to pick up a bag for the week. We don’t have a big team or any fancy equipment. It’s just us behind the counter and a few people helping with the heavy lifting. We try to keep our prices fair because we know most of our customers are just regular families from the neighborhood. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to explain to folks why we’re out of a certain variety, which is always a bit awkward. But we do our best. We don’t use any corporate talk or have a mission statement on the wall. We’re just here to sell quality rice and earn a living. The shop is simple, with old wooden shelves and a stone floor that’s seen better days. It’s an honest, local business. If you’re walking down Mandaveli Road, you’ll see our door open from early morning. We’re just part of the daily routine for a lot of people around here, and we like it that way. It’s nothing fancy, just a regular place for folks to get what they need.
