South India Corporation

We are tucked away at No.43 on Post Office Street. It is a small street, right near the corner where Armenian Street starts. If you aren't looking for it, you might miss the entrance to South India Corporation because the signs around here are all clustered together. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, and it has that specific smell of old paper and dust. We have been operating from this location for a long time. There isn't much space for parking, so we usually see people walking in from the main road. The work we do here is pretty straightforward. We handle a lot of paperwork and keep track of things coming in and going out. It is a lot of back and forth with the people who come to visit us. Most of the time, the fans are spinning overhead to keep the air moving because it gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just show up, sit at our desks, and get the day's tasks done before the sun sets. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot to catch up on. It is a quiet existence for the most part, even with the city noise just a block away. We like being near the corner here; it feels like we are part of the history of the neighborhood and the street.
