Sourish Fashions

Sourish Fashions is based in Chennai. We do not have a fancy street name to brag about, we are just here in the middle of the city. The heat in Chennai can be really something else, so we have a few old fans that keep humming all day long to keep us from melting. Our workshop is full of different colored threads and pieces of fabric scattered about. It is a bit of a chaotic look, but there is a system to it that only we understand. We spend our days mostly bent over the machines or checking the quality of the stitching. It is hard work and the days are long. We do not have a big sign outside or anything special to look at. Most people who know us just find their way here through word of mouth. We drink a lot of water and try to stay cool while we finish the orders. The city noise is just part of the background, like the sound of the sewing machines. We have been doing this for a while now in Chennai. It is a place where we feel at home even if the space is a bit cramped. We do not have a website or fancy brochures. We just have our hands and the machines. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during the evening just to catch a bit of a breeze. It is just Sourish Fashions, a small part of this big city.
