This institute is situated at 1/123 Ilavanthangal, which is out in the Thaiyur area near Kelambakkam. It is a bit of a distance from the main city of Chennai, so it is relatively quiet compared to the urban center. The campus is a functional space where we spend our days managing various departments and looking after the students. It isn't always the most organized place, as there is always something that needs fixing or a schedule that needs to be changed at the last minute. We have people coming in from all over the local district to attend their sessions. The walk from the main road to our entrance can be quite hot in the middle of the day, but everyone seems used to it. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans or polished corporate videos. It is just a place where people come to learn technical things. The hallways are often filled with the sound of students talking and the hum of the machines in the labs. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and making sure the facilities are at least decent for daily use. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets patchy, and we just have to wait it out or find a workaround. It is a practical environment where the focus is on getting the day's work done.
