Down in Periamet, on Patnul Sardar Jung Street, you’ll find us at Smita Exports Pvt. Ltd. We are on the first floor, at 3-C. It’s an old building, but it serves us well enough for what we do. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy samples up can be a bit of a workout. Periamet is known for its trade, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops and offices around here. Our space is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and someone typing away. We don’t go for anything fancy. Most of the furniture has been here since we moved in. It’s an honest place where we focus on getting the exports handled. Dealing with the paperwork for international shipping takes up most of our morning. We’ve had the same people working here for a long time, which makes the days go by easier. We know how each other works. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the files, but we try to keep it decent. The street outside is always packed with carts and people moving goods, so it's never quiet. We like the energy of the area, even if it’s a bit much on hot afternoons. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the business running and the orders moving. That’s about all there is to Smita Exports, really. Just people working in an old office.
